For our client a global and very successful industry company we are looking for a
Network Competence Center Engineer
Your responsibility | The Network Competency Center is the owner of our client’s worldwide network. This includes but is not limited to Wide Area Networks, Wireless Networks and Local Area Networks. As a member of the Network Competency Center, you are in charge of availability and performance of the networks. The Network Competency Center is the international 2nd line support for all the IT organizations. Beside provider management, 2nd line support of countries, system monitoring and documentation, you are also participating in continuously developing the IT infrastructure. Working in a virtually organized international team, organized across the 3 main time zones, requires sound social and communication skills.
Your personality |  Engineer school or similar. 5 years minimum in a similar position using Cisco IP technology. Significant IP experience with successful international network projects. Cisco certification is an advantage. Customer-oriented mind-set. Team player, excellent communication skills. Willingness to work in a full international environment. Fluent in German and in English. Availability for occasional travelling. Availability for alternating on-call service.
